Hi there! I’m Geoff Ongley. Thanks for visiting my site, I hope you get some value from being here.
So a bit about me…
As a UNIX Systems Administrator I have spent most of my time with FreeBSD and Solaris systems, various different hardware and software and I’ve met a lot of really smart people along the way.
I have a Computer Science Degree, SCSA (Sun Certified System Administrator) and a reasonable amount of experience behind me, mostly because I got into this stuff when I was a kid, and have been interested in it ever since.
These days I work for Sun Microsystems in Australia as a Solaris Consultant & OS Ambassador, helping people adopt some of our great technologies like Logical Domains, Solaris 10 Zones, ZFS, OpenSolaris and The Java Enterprise System.
